Portfolio Realty Group is thrilled to announce the dates for the 2025 Rock on The Lock Concert Series at the historic Lock 1 stage in Port Dalhousie!
In collaboration with The Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works Committee (BWC), as well as the City of St. Catharines & the generous support of local sponsors, we’re committed to bringing FREE top-notch entertainment to our cherished community landmark.
The Legacy of Lock 1
Lock 1, part of the Third Welland Canal constructed between 1882 and 1930, has been integral to Port Dalhousie’s rich maritime history. This stone lock served as the northern terminus of the canal, playing a pivotal role in the village’s development.
In recent years, the historic Lock 1 has been transformed into a vibrant performance amphitheater, with its stone walls providing a unique backdrop for community events. The BWC inaugurated the free outdoor concert series at this venue in 2024, featuring local talents like Jackson Flats, Stephen McKay, and Country Junkies. This initiative has since become a beloved tradition, drawing music enthusiasts from near and far.

Spotlight: Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works Committee
The Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works Committee is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the enhancement and preservation of Port Dalhousie’s unique charm. Established in 2016, the BWC collaborates closely with local residents, businesses, and the city to undertake projects that beautify public spaces, organize community events, and celebrate the area’s rich heritage. Their unwavering commitment ensures that Port Dalhousie remains a vibrant and welcoming community for all.
