Lakeside Park, Port Dalhousie

Located on Lake Ontario’s southern shore, Lakeside Park boasts a popular sandy beach, a pier perfect for fishing or a morning stroll, and a fabulous playground for children.  There is also an antique, hand-crafted carousel that both adults and children can ride for only 5 cents.  Residents of Port Dalhousie not only enjoy amazing views of the lake, harbour & lighthouse, they also have access to excellent restaurants, cafes and boutique shopping.  

Sunset Beach, St. Catharines

The waters of Lake Ontario wash ashore onto this sandy 1,200 ft stretch of beach.  This less crowded hidden gem is a fantastic place to relax and take in the spectacular view of the water. There is also a waterfront trail, playground facility for children and a free boat launch for small crafts during the season. 

Charles Daly Park, Jordan

Located on Lake Ontario, this area offers a 22.5 acre waterfront park that is open all year and offers the perfect setting for picnicking, beachcombing, and tobogganing in snowy winters. Boasting two separate beaches next to inlets of the Fifteen and Sixteen Mile Creeks, this area is ideal for canoeing and fishing. 

Bay Beach and Crystal Beach, Fort Erie

Located on the shore of Lake Erie and rated one of the top beaches in Ontario, Bay Beach (also known as Crystal Beach), features pristine, clear water and a vast sandy beach, as well as modern beach facilities, playground and pavilion.  To access the beach, beachgoers will be required to purchase a Bay Beach pass.  Fort Erie Residents are provided resident passes. 

Long Beach, Wainfleet

Located on Lake Erie, this beautiful beach is the perfect place to swim, sunbathe, launch your boat, sail, fish, jet-ski or simply relax and enjoy a picnic.  Naturalists will appreciate the forest and lake habitat which offers opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife viewing and photography.
