Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights

The Niagara Winter Festival of Lights returns this year with animated light installations and amazing projections – all of which will leave you spellbound! The festival literally shines up the entire Niagara Falls destination with its brilliance and dazzles people with its joy.

The Niagara Winter Festival of Lights is FREE and open to everyone! It takes place November 18th, 2023 to January 7th, 2024 along 8 km of the Niagara Parkway and within Queen Victoria Park, Dufferin Islands, and various tourist areas throughout Niagara Falls.

NOTL Candlelight Stroll & Santa Claus Parade

A cherished and heartwarming tradition,  the annual Candlelight Stroll through Old Town marks the beginning of the holiday season in picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake!

For the upcoming 2023 Candlelight Stroll, Old Town will be hosting a captivating afternoon showcase, featuring multiple musical performances right in front of the historic Old Court House Building on Queen Street!

Don’t miss the highlight of the season – the Santa Claus Parade! Be captivated by the joyous spectacle as Santa himself leads a procession of festively adorned floats, spreading cheer to all. It’s a magical experience for the whole family!

Safari Lights at Safari Niagara

Safari Lights is a family-friendly, drive-through holiday journey, surrounded by the twinkle of holiday lights. 

Safari Niagara transforms the outdoor park space into a 3-kilometer, twinkling Christmas landscape with over a million lights. It’s a drive-through light journey, creating a wonderful, warm and safe experience for the young… and the young-at-heart.

Christmas on Ice

A thrilling high-paced spectacle of world-class ice skating and holiday cheer, Fallsview Casino’s Christmas on Ice features a winter wonderland of national championship ice skaters, dancers and singers that will fill you with the magic of the season.

Poinsettia Show at the Floral Showhouse

A family holiday tradition for over 65 years featuring poinsettias, cyclamen, azaleas, Christmas cactus and paperwhite narcissus, and many other Christmas surprises.

The Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse hosts the annual Poinsettia Show throughout the Christmas season. This classic performance combines traditional Christmas settings with modern accents of vivid colours and lights to bring the warmth and romance of the season to life.

Balls Falls Winter Solstice

Mark your calendar for the Winter Solstice Concert on December 20, 2023, featuring the captivating WomEnchant Chorus & Drummers. Hosted by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation.

Nestled in the scenic Glen Elgin Room at the Centre for Conservation, the concert offers breathtaking views of the park, elevating the enjoyment of seasonal songs and drumming. All proceeds contribute to the Niagara Peninsula Conservation, ensuring the preservation of our natural environment for current and future generations.

Let It Glow – A Celebration of Light is a family-friendly, outdoor festival featuring dazzling interactive light displays, enchanting entertainment, colourful cultural programming and more.

Enjoy a winter ride on the nearby Lakeside Park Carousel have your picture taken with a glowing palm tree, a giant snow flake and more. Dine, shop and explore amongst the glow of twinkling lights.

Port Dalhousie Candlelight Stroll

Enjoy an evening of lights, decorations and entertainment by 11 diverse holiday themed entertainers in historic Port Dalhousie.

The Port Dalhousie Beautification and Works presents the 2023 annual Port Dalhousie Candlelight Stroll with 11 porchside performances. 

Join the holiday stroll in Picturesque Port Dalhousie and walk along Lock & Main to view the holiday entertainment. After the stroll, guests are welcome to join in at St. John’s Anglican Church for a Santa meet and greet along with refreshments.

Shaw Festival presents “A Christmas Carol”

Ebenezer Scrooge is back! Nestled in the heart of the ultimate Christmas village, the charming holiday favourite A Christmas Carol returns to the Shaw Festival’s Royal George Theatre.
